Maruan Paschen

Maruan Paschen (born April 2, 1984 in Hamburg ) is a German writer .
Life
Paschen was born to a German mother and a Palestinian father and grew up in his native Hamburg . After training as a chef , he studied at the Swiss Literature Institute in Biel , at the Institute for Linguistic Art at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and at the German Literature Institute in Leipzig . He then worked as a German teacher in Tripoli and as an advertising copywriter in Berlin, where he currently lives. In 2018 he hosted the literary web series Warten auf ... for three episodes , in which he had conversations with Heinz Helle , Heike Geißler and Juan S. Guse .
