Heike Geissler

Heike Geißler (born April 5, 1977 in Riesa , Saxony ) is a German writer.

Life

Heike Geißler grew up in Riesa and Karl-Marx-Stadt / Chemnitz . In 2001 she received the Alfred Döblin Award for the novel Rosa , published a year later . On the Ingeborg Bachmann competition in Klagenfurt Heike Geissler took part of 2008.

She lives as a freelance writer in Leipzig and has two children.
