Marvin is a Swiss pop band from Freiburg in Üechtland .

history

Marvin was founded at the end of 2004 by Stefan Schmid ( vocals , guitar , keyboard ), Daniel Ackermann (guitar) and the manager Peter Kaeser.

Before the band was even complete, the two musicians worked with Welsh producer Greg Haver. In early 2005, Marvin was expanded to include Muso Stamm ( drums ) and Mike Bischof ( bass ).

In 2005 the band released their first extended play flic flac and achieved their first success with the radio single Holiday .

The debut album This Good Life was released in 2008. The band was awarded the Swiss Top Winner 2008 award by DRS 3 . The singles 28 Stories , Best Days and End of Time made it into the Swiss Airplay Charts.

In 2009 the second album Super Constellation was released. It was recorded over four weeks in the south west of England , again with Greg Haver as producer. The single I Wanna Be There was one of the most played songs on Swiss radio stations in 2009.
