Marvin, the Tap-Dancing Horse (original title: Marvin the Tap-Dancing Horse) is an animated series that was produced between 2000 and 2001 .

Marvin is a horse who is a master in tap dancing . He proves this through years of stage experience on Broadway . He is also one of the world's best storytellers. He previously worked as a circus horse at Jack's amusement park until one day he was poached. But fame, success and the way his colleagues were not right for him and so he returned to his old friends at Jack's amusement park. Here he meets nine-year-old Eddy, who wants to earn a little pocket money during the summer holidays and befriends the animals. Together with the elephant Diamond, the sensitive pig Elizabeth and the Tiger Stripes, they show him the true meaning of friendship and solidarity and experience many adventures.

Production and publication

The series was produced between 2000 and 2001 in a Canadian-Korean collaboration. This resulted in 2 seasons and 52 episodes. Responsible production company is Nelvana .

The German premiere took place on September 19, 2001 on Super RTL . Other broadcasts also took place on Anixie , Junior , Das Vierte , Sky Deutschland , NRW.TV and YFE TV .
