YFE TV was a German children's and family broadcaster. It was broadcast 24 hours a day.
History and program
The Your Family Entertainment AG , which has been active since 1999 in the field of film rights launched its own pay-TV channel on November 5 of 2007. Initially only receivable via KabelKiosk , yourfamilyentertainment was also activated on the Unitymedia platform on October 28, 2008. The station can now also be received via Kabel BW (D), swisscom (CH), 3 (AT), upc (AT) and other platforms.
In addition to formats with an educational character for preschool children, animated series for children, entertainment programs for the whole family were broadcast . The station should be demanding in terms of content.
The focus was on exploiting its own licenses for TV content for children, young people and families such as Fix & Foxi , Urmel , Tales from the Crypt or Hardy Boys .
On November 19, 2010, yourfamily won the HOT BIRD TV Award 2010 supported by the satellite operator EUTELSAT in cooperation with the European film festival Eurovisioni and the trade fair Sat Expo.
On November 30, 2014, YFE TV was discontinued without replacement. On December 1, 2014, Fix and Foxi took over the former broadcasting slots from YFE TV.
