The Your Family Entertainment AG (formerly RTV Family Entertainment AG ), abbreviated YFE , is a producer and distributor of children's and family programs.
history
The company was founded in 1999. After a short time, RTV made massive adjustments to the valuation of its film licenses , which led to a collapse in the share price and several shareholder lawsuits.
Until 2005, the Ravensburger company was the main shareholder of RTV with almost 90% ownership (RTV stood for Ravensburger TV ). This share was taken over in 2005 by the Austrian Film & Medien Beteiligungs GmbH, Vienna . F&M holds approx. 80% of the shares, the rest is in free float. On July 12, 2006, the general meeting decided against the resistance of the small shareholders to rename RTV Family Entertainment to Your Family Entertainment (YFE).
According to the annual report scored the Your Family Entertainment in fiscal year 2009 with 12 employees generated sales of € 3.8 million and a net income of € 0.77 million.
YFE has licenses for the computer game series Moorhuhn , the trick series Fix and Foxi , Urmel , Kommando Störtebeker , Cosmo & Wanda , Dragon Hunters and many other programs. In the past, the company concentrated at times on merchandising items for these characters.
Judgment of the OLG Stuttgart
RTV became known through the judgment of the Higher Regional Court of Stuttgart on March 15, 2006, in which an important decision was made for stock corporations that supervisory boards could not meet their reporting obligations by merely building their report from standard formulations. Particularly in economically difficult situations, there are therefore high demands on the reporting obligation.

With yourfamilyentertainment , the company has been operating its own television station since the end of 2007. This can be received at KabelKiosk , in the Unitymedia cable network and via the IPTV offer from Alice , Arcor , bluewin and others. Since September 1, 2009, the channel has also been receivable in the UPC DigitalTV plus package . The program can also be accessed online via Zattoo .
On September 10, 2012, the company launched the RiC channel , which is broadcast unencrypted via the Astra 1L satellite . In May 2014, the channel “your Family” was launched via Arabsat in the Arab region, via MyHD and via Azam in Africa. On December 1, 2014 the payment channel Fix & Foxi was launched and replaced the channel yourfamily in over 130 cable networks in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
