Mary Jackson (actress)
Mary Jackson (born November 22, 1910 in Milford , Michigan , † December 10, 2005 in Los Angeles ) was an American film actress.
Jackson starred in films from the 1950s until well into the 1990s, but mostly on television. Mostly she was seen in crime and family series in guest roles or appeared in sketch shows. She became known for her role as Miss Emily Baldwin in the series The Waltons on the side of Helen Kleeb . In the unsent pilot of The Days of Our Lives , she played the role of Alice Horton , but this was changed to Frances Reid . Mary Jackson was married to Griffin Bancroft Jr. from 1937 until her death.
