Mary Nótár

Mary Nótár (born July 2, 1985 in Veszprém ), actually Mária Nótár , is a Hungarian singer from the Roma population . She also plays guitar and piano . Their preferred genre is pop music .

Life

Nótar comes from a family of musicians; her grandfather was Prímás and her father Ferenc Nótár guitarist and pianist . She sang at a young age and performed with her father. She gained greater fame in 2002 when she participated in the compilation Roma Sztárparádé with various other Roma musicians. Her first two solo albums were released in the same year. She has now released twelve of her own albums.

Appreciation

In 2007 she received the Jimmy Zámbó Prize ( Zámbó Jimmy-díj ) and in 2014 the Fonogram Prize ( Fonogram díj ).
