Life

Mary Parker had attended girls' high school and then received theater training. She was discovered for film at the beginning of February 1924 and played leading roles under leading directors such as Richard Eichberg , Reinhold Schünzel and Richard Oswald from the start . Right at the beginning of her career, she also had Asta Nielsen , whose sister she played in " The Butterfly Battle ", directed by Henny Porten's brother-in-law Franz Eckstein, as a partner. In 1925, Mary Parker described Elise as her most beautiful role in " Um Recht und Ehre " at Harry Liedtke's side . She was later seen as a partner of Hans Albers and Willi Forst .

In less than six years, Mary Parker could be seen in about twenty silent films. Despite a certain popularity in film-historically insignificant productions, she did not make the transition to sound film. She only appeared in front of the camera three times in the 1930s; After a tiny appearance in 1937, she stopped acting. Nothing is known about the further life of Mary Parker.
