Life

In 1997, Masako Katagami-Theis and her husband Adolf Theis founded BPT GmbH , a "consulting and planning company for clinics, senior citizens and spa facilities". She chose two leaves of a ginkgo tree from her Japanese homeland as the company logo - a symbol of stability, tenacity and sincerity. The ProCurand AG , originally founded as a subsidiary of BPT consulting and planning GmbH, was initially a restoration company. The company was founded in 1999 on the basis of many years of experience in the health sector and is now active as the operator and owner of senior facilities as well as a service provider for operating companies in the social and health sector. In the federal state of Brandenburg, ProCurand has become the largest private provider of senior citizens' facilities within five years of its foundation. The non-profit ProCurand GmbH now runs 24 senior citizens' residences in the federal states of Berlin, Brandenburg, Saxony-Anhalt, Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. The non-profit ProCurand GmbH includes the two other companies, Gemeinnützige Biloba GmbH (outpatient care service) and R + Z-Servicegesellschaft mbH (purchasing, cleaning & catering).
