Masamitsu Kobayashi ( Japanese 小林 成 光 , Kobayashi Masamitsu ; born April 13, 1978 in Tochigi Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Kobayashi learned to play soccer on the school team at Sano Nihon University High School . He signed his first contract in 1997 with Tokyo Gas (today: FC Tokyo). The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Football League . In 1999 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted to the J1 League . In 2004 he won the J.League Cup with the club . For the club he completed 135 games. In 2006 he moved to the second division Sagan Tosu . For the club he completed 11 games. In 2007 he moved to third division club Tochigi SC . For the club he completed 50 games. At the end of 2008 he ended his career as a football player.
