Masatada Ishii ( Japanese 石井 正忠 , Ishii Masatada ; born February 1, 1967 in Chiba Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player and coach.

Career

Ishii learned to play football on the school team at Ichihara Midori High School and the university team at Juntendo University . He signed his first contract with NTT Kanto in 1989 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the Japan Soccer League Division 2. For the club, he completed 43 games. In 1991 he switched to league competitor Sumitomo Metal . With the founding of the professional league J.League in 1992 and the associated reorganization of Japanese football, Sumitomo Metal became the Kashima Antlers . With the club he became Japanese champion in 1996 . In 1997 he won the J.League Cup and Kaiserpokal with the club . For the club he completed 109 games. In 1998 he moved to league rivals Avispa Fukuoka . At the end of 1998 he ended his career as a football player.
