Masciascita ( Arabic المشاشطة, DMG al-Mašāšiṭa ) is a settlement center as a small town in Libya , which is located in the Gefara district in the Tripolitania region . Masciascita is about 32 kilometers from the Libyan capital Tripoli .
During the Italian colonial era , Masciascita was part of the Ferrovia Tripoli-Vertice 31 railway . There is also a mosque from the Ottoman rule in the village .
