ISO 3166-2: LY

The list of ISO-3166-2 codes for Libya contains the codes for the 22 municipalities since 2007.

The codes consist of two parts separated by a hyphen. The first part gives the country code according to ISO 3166-1 (for Libya LY), the second the code for the Munizip (Shabiyah).

The current country code was last updated in Newsletter II-2 of June 30, 2010 ( PDF ).
