Regions in Eswatini

The list of ISO-3166-2 codes for Eswatini contains the codes for the four regions in Eswatini .

The codes consist of two parts separated by a hyphen. The first part gives the country code according to ISO 3166-1 (for Eswatini SZ), the second the code for the region.

The current country code has not been updated since it was published in 1998.

The current codes are available on the ISO website under #iso: code: 3166: SZ .

After the official renaming of the country from "Swaziland" to "Eswatini", the name was changed in ISO 3166 on July 16, 2018, while maintaining the code. This change was adopted in DIN EN ISO 3166-1 4 days later.

The designation of the units was changed from District to Region on November 26, 2018.
