Massimiliano "Max" Vieri (born September 1, 1978 in Sydney ) is an Australian - Italian football player . He is the younger brother of the long-time former Italian national player Christian Vieri . His father Roberto was also a player in Italy and Australia.
He currently plays for AC Prato in the Lega Pro Prima Divisione , the third highest division in Italy. Previous positions were: AC Prato, Fano , Brescello , AC Ancona , Hellas Verona , SSC Napoli , Ternana Calcio , US Triestina , AC Arezzo , Novara Calcio and Calcio Lecco .
Since 2004 he has had six appearances in the Australian national football team .
