Matías Abisab , full name Matías Alberto Abisab Gutiérrez , (born September 10, 1993 in Montevideo ) is a Uruguayan football player .

Career

The 1.71 meter tall midfielder Abisab has been in the first division squad of the Montevideo-based club Bella Vista at least since the Clausura 2012 . In that half series, twelve appearances (one goal) in the Primera División are recorded for him. In the following season 2012/13 he made 27 premier league appearances - all of them in the starting XI - and three goals. At the end of the season, his club was relegated. Abisab then moved to the first division club Atlético Cerro . In the 2013/14 season he played ten league games and scored three goals. In the 2014/15 season, he was used in 23 first division games without a personal goal. During the 2015/16 season he was used in seven league games (no goal). At the end of July 2016, he moved to the second division club Deportivo Maldonado . In the 2016 season, he played eleven second division games (six goals). During the 2017 season he has so far (as of August 8, 2017) been used eleven times (one goal) in the second-highest Uruguayan league.

National team

Abisab made his debut on September 5, 2012 in the U-20 national team of Uruguay, which was coached by Juan Verzeri , in a friendly against the Paraguayan selection, which they won 2-0 . He was a member of the Uruguayan U-20 squad at the U-20 South American Championship in Argentina in 2013 and played a game during the tournament. So far (as of July 5, 2013) he has completed six international matches (no goal) in this age group.
