Mateo Herrera
Mateo Herrera (* 1867 in León de los Aldama ; † 1927 ) was a Mexican painter and graphic artist .
biography
Mateo Herrera went to Mexico City in 1886 to learn painting and drawing at the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes , and continued his studies in Europe. He later taught at the ENBA as a professor and headed it as director. He died of a heart attack.
