Matern Harder
Matern Harder (also Matern of Strasbourg called * unknown, † 1525 in Nuremberg ) was an architect of the early modern period .
He came from Strasbourg and was a kit master . Then he made a name for himself as a gun founder. He also headed a gun unit when Duke Ulrich von Württemberg made a campaign. Since moving to Nuremberg, where it was first recorded in 1512, his name has been associated with the building of fortresses.
