Matsch Ridge is a striking mountain range of up to 1,830 m in the west Antarctic Ellsworthland . It runs in the Sentinel Range of the Ellsworth Mountains in a west-northwest direction starting from Mount Ulmer .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1982 after the American geologist Charles Matsch (1930-2014), who examined this mountain range as part of the United States Antarctic Program on an expedition to the Ellsworth Mountains from 1979 to 1980.
