The Katahara-Matsudaira ( Japanese 形 原 松 平 家 , Katahara-Matsudaira-ke ) were a family of the Japanese sword nobility ( Buke ), which was derived from Okitsugu, Matsudaira Nobumitsu's son. Okitsugu had settled in Katahara ( Mikawa Province ) and adopted that name. With an income of 50,000 Koku , the Katahara , who last resided in Kameyama ( Kyoto Prefecture ), belonged to the larger Fudai daimyo of the Edo period .

genealogy

  • Ietada ( 家 忠 ; 1547–1582) took part in the Tokugawa Ieyasu campaigns.
  • Ienobu ( 家信 ; 1569-1638) moved in 1619 from Katahara to Takatsuki ( Settsu ) with an income of 25,000 koku and then, in 1635, to Sakura ( Shimousa ) with 35,000 koku.
  • Yasunobu ( 泰 信 ; 1600–1682) moved back to Takatsuki, then in 1649 he was transferred to Sasayama ( Tamba ) with 50,000 koku. His descendants then resided in Kameyama (Tamba) with 50,000 Koku from 1748 to 1868. Then Vice Count .
