Matt Turner

Matthew L. "Matt" Turner (* 1966 ) is an American jazz and improvisation musician ( cello , also piano ).

Live and act

Matt Turner initially studied at Lawrence University ; He then obtained a Master of Music in Third Stream at the New England Conservatory of Music , where he a. a. studied with Dave Holland , Geri Allen and Joe Maneri and was a recipient of the Distinction in Performance Award . Since then he has worked with musicians such as Marilyn Crispell , Joseph Jarman , Larry Ochs , Scott Fields , Ken Schaphorst and Jeff Song . He teaches at the Lawrence University Conservatory.
