Matteo Bellinelli

Matteo Bellinelli (born December 10, 1950 in Lugano ) is a Swiss documentary filmmaker and director .

Life

Bellinelli graduated in philosophy and initially worked for radio. He then began a long activity for the Italian-language television program in Switzerland as an author, journalist and director of numerous documentaries. In particular, he specialized in artist portraits, for example about François Truffaut and Joseph Losey .

As a film director, he drew for three television films before his debut in 1997 with La terza luna , which was nominated for the Golden Leopard at the Locarno Film Festival . After Engel I never saw in 2001 for Swiss television, the mystery thriller Cuore di ghiaccio was created again for television in 2006 .
