Matteo Bisiani

Matteo Bisiani (born August 2, 1976 in Monfalcone ) is an Italian archer who took part in the 1996 and 2000 Olympic Games.

The 1.84 meter tall Bisiani won the bronze world championship with the team in the hall in 1995. At the outdoor world championships in Jakarta, the Italian team took second place. At the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta Bisiani reached the round of 16 in the individual competition, with the team he won the bronze medal. In 1997 he won bronze again at the World Indoor Championships, in 1999 they finished second behind the Australians in the hall. At the outdoor world championships in Riom, France, Michele Frangilli , Ilario Di Buò and Matteo Bisiani won the team title against the team from South Korea. A year later, the South Koreans were able to return the favor in the Olympic final and won gold from the Italians. In 2001 Bisiani was once again part of the Italian World Cup squad when the team again won silver behind the Koreans.
