Matthew Best
Matthew Best (born February 6, 1957 ) is a British opera singer ( bass ) and conductor .
Life
Matthew Best founded the Corydon Singers at the age of 16 . The choir received a lot of attention under his direction . In addition to his commitment as a choir director , Best also works as an orchestra conductor. Since 1985 he has been the guest conductor of the English Chamber Orchestra . One focus of his CD recordings are sacred works by Anton Bruckner .
Best is also a sought-after opera singer . So he stepped u. a. also in the Alte Oper in Frankfurt am Main .
