Matthew Paterson

Matthew Paterson (* 1967 ) is a British political scientist and university professor.

Life

Matthew Paterson received his BA from the University of Newcastle ( New South Wales , Australia ) and his Ph. D. from the University of Essex (UK). In 2003 he was Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor ) for " International Relations " at Keele University (UK). Today (2008) he is Professor of Political Science at the University of Ottawa ( Canada ).

Paterson has dealt intensively with environmental problems in his work. As a solution to the global environmental problems, a fundamental restructuring of society appears necessary for him, which should then be emancipatory and local.
