Matthias Hager (basketball official)

Matthias Hager (* 1979 ) is an Austrian basketball official .

career

Hager played basketball at the Vienna club WAT Wieden , volunteered at Union West Vienna, where he took on managerial duties and was manager of the Basket Clubs Vienna from 2006 to 2008 . He completed a teacher training course at the University of Vienna in the subjects of exercise and sport, psychology and philosophy. He worked full-time as a coordinator at the Austrian Basketball Association and was involved in administration and in the youth sector.

In summer 2008 he took up the position of manager at Bundesliga club BK Klosterneuburg .
