Matthias Henseler

Matthias Henseler (born November 5, 1887 in Geisbach near Hennef ; † December 13, 1964 ) was a German politician ( CDU ). From 1950 to 1958 he was a member of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia .

education and profession

Matthias Henseler completed an apprenticeship as a toolmaker after primary school . From 1921 he worked as managing director of the Christian Metalworkers' Association until its dissolution in 1933. From 1945 to 1952, Henseler was head of the economic and food office of the Siegkreis .

politics

Before 1933, Henseler was the second chairman of the Center Party in the Siegkreis. He was a member of the district council from 1921 to 1933 , and from 1925 he was also a member of the district committee of the Siegkreis. After the Second World War, from 1945 to 1946 Henseler was a member of the district committee of the Siegkreis appointed by the Allies. In 1948 he became chairman of the ÖTV union at the Siegburg administration office .

Henseler was elected to the North Rhine-Westphalian state parliament as a direct candidate for the CDU in constituency 23 (Siegkreis-Nord) in the second and third electoral periods; he was a member of the parliament from July 5, 1950 to July 12, 1958.

From 1952 he was deputy CDU district chairman and was re-elected to the district council of the Siegkreis from 1952 to 1956.
