Matthias Hochegger (born February 22, 1993 ) is an Austrian Nordic combined athlete .

Career

Matthias Hochegger competed in his first FIS competition in 2008. On January 24th, 2010 he made his debut in the Continental Cup of Nordic Combined , when he finished 25th in a Gundersen competition on the large hill in Bischofshofen . He achieved his best result in this competition series on February 18, 2012 with second place in a team competition in Kranj, Slovenia . In individual competitions, two fourth places represent his best results. In the 2013/14 season , he reached seventh place overall. He also competed regularly in the Alpencup between 2008 and 2013 .

At the Nordic Junior World Ski Championships 2013 in Liberec , Czech Republic , he took part in the individual competition on the normal hill. At the end of the subsequent cross-country skiing distance of ten kilometers, he finished in 16th place.

Matthias Hochegger's last international competition to date was on March 16, 2014 in Kuusamo .
