Matthias Horndasch (born September 17, 1961 in Hanover ; † December 2, 2015 ) was a pianist , composer , author and presenter .

Live and act

Matthias Horndasch was a German artist, journalist and media worker. In addition to concerts and CD recordings, book and journalistic publications, he worked creatively for the stage, cinema, TV, radio and multimedia crossover productions.

Horndasch gave concerts and produced LPs and CDs as a jazz pianist solo and with his own ensembles, such as Quartett Commun , Matthias Horndasch Trio & Quartett , in a duo with Leszek Zadlo , in The International , Matthias Horndasch's Elements , Jazzmonauten and The New International (with Joe DiCarlo, drums & Ramani Krishna, bass). Solo concerts with reading parts are the concert for remembering and Jesus was a jazz monaut !? as well as from autumn 2011 together with percussionist & actor Thando Walbaum the German-African music and fairy tale connection .

Since 1998 he has also worked as a moderator, e.g. E.g. the monthly talk format for democracy, against extremism, Die Weisse Runde - celebrities in the talk for tolerance , in cooperation with various Lower Saxony funding and cooperation partners, including the Lower Saxony State Chancellery, the Lower Saxony Ministry of the Interior, the NLQ, nordmedia - The media company Lower Saxony / Bremen and the research institute for philosophy as well as the state capital Hanover.
