Matthias Lindner (born September 7, 1988 in Scheiblingkirchen ) is an Austrian football player .

Career

Lindner started in the academy or youth team of VfB Admira Wacker Mödling , from where he made his debut in the second highest Austrian division in 2006. In 2007 he moved to SV Mattersburg , where he made his debut on August 5, 2007. Lindner came on for Michael Mörz in the 90th minute against SCR Altach . Lindner scored his first Bundesliga goal on April 20, 2008 against Wacker Innsbruck , where he scored a double. The game ended 5-0 for the Burgenlanders. Before he moved to SC Wiener Neustadt within the league in 2011 , he won the trophy of the most successful goalscorer with seven goals at the BFV Hallenmasters .

For the 2012/13 season, Lindner switched to FC Blau-Weiß Linz , where he signed a contract until summer 2013 with an option for another year.
