Michael Mörz (born April 2, 1980 in Eisenstadt ) is a former Austrian soccer player .

Career

Michael Mörz is a midfielder and came from the SV Mattersburg youth team to the combat team in the 2000/01 season. Before that, he played in the SK Rapid Wien youth team . In the 2002/03 season he was voted the best player in the second-rate first division and in the 2004 Krone footballer election to third place. In 2003 he made it to the top Austrian league as a regular player in Burgenland. Mörz made his debut in the top Austrian division on July 26, 2003 against SK Sturm Graz . In 2006 he reached the Austrian Cup final with SV Mattersburg . After the unsuccessful 2013/2014 season, Mörz ended his career and now trains youth teams at SV Mattersburg.

In August 2004 Mörz was called up for the first time in the Austrian national soccer team . On September 7, 2005, his first international match came against Azerbaijan in Baku . The game ended 0-0.
