Ŧŧ

The letter Ŧ ( lower case ŧ ) is a letter of the Latin writing system , consisting of a T / t with a slash . It is used:

• in the North Sami language for the voiceless dental fricative [ θ ]. ​​
• as a symbol Ŧ, which is used in dynamics for the highest possible number of rotary movements per life cycle of a rotating component. This symbol has been recognized by the Austrian Standards Institute since 1932 .
• the symbol ₮ with two slashes is used for the Mongolian currency tugrik .
• In cursive , a common form of the capital F is similar to Ŧ.

The two letters “Ŧ” and “ŧ” are not included in the ASCII character set . They are in ISO 8859-4 at positions 172 (AC ₁₆ ) and 188 (BC ₁₆ ). In the Unicode block Latin, extended-A , they have codes U + 0166 (358) and U + 0167 (359). The code U + 20AE (8366) is defined for the currency symbol "₮" in the Unicode block currency symbols.
