Matthias Möhring-Hesse

Matthias Möhring-Hesse (* 1961 ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian .

Life

Möhring-Hesse studied Roman Catholic theology and philosophy from 1981 to 1987 at the Philosophical-Theological University of Sankt Georgen and at the Westphalian Wilhelms University in Münster . From 1987 to 1991 Möhring-Hesse studied sociology at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main . From 2007 to 2011 Möhring-Hesse was professor for the philosophical and theological foundations of social action at the University of Vechta . Since 2011 he has held the chair for theological ethics / social ethics at the Catholic-Theological Faculty of Tübingen at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen . He is a member of the SPD's Basic Values ​​Commission .
