Matthias Mende

Matthias Mende (* 23. November 1979 in Berlin ) is a former German mountain bike - cyclist in the disciplines of cross-country and marathon .

Mendes achieved his first international successes in cross country in 1997 with his victory at the European championship and the junior vice world championship. He later moved to the Stevens Jeantex team and won the German U23 championship in 1999. Since 2003 he has been a member of the newly founded Ralph-Denk-Racing Team and finished seventh in the German championships.
