Matthias Schlicht

Matthias Schlicht (born May 3, 1967 ) is a former German sprinter and was an English and geography teacher at Heinrich-Heine-Gymnasium (Kaiserslautern) until the beginning of 2013 , then he was transferred to Berlin.

At the European Athletics Championships in 1986 in Stuttgart, he was eliminated over 100 meters in the preliminary run.

In 1989 he won over 60 meters silver at the European Indoor Championships in The Hague and was sixth at the World Indoor Championships in Budapest .

In the hall he was German runner-up in 1987 and German champion over 60 meters in 1989 and 1993.

Matthias Schlicht started for the OSC Berlin .
