Matti Lund Nielsen (born May 8, 1988 in Odense ) is a Danish football player.
Career
Nielsen played at Odense BK since childhood . At the beginning of 2007 he joined the second team. On October 24, 2007 he made his professional debut when he was substituted on in a game in the Superliga , the first Danish league. He came on as a substitute for Jonas Borring in the 83rd minute against Viborg FF (2-2) . By the end of the season he had a total of seven missions. In the 2008/09 season he came in August 2008 to a mission. Shortly thereafter, Lyngby BK was awarded to the second division club and came in 24 missions to three hits. After the end of the loan agreement, he returned to Odense, but was unable to assert himself there again. Therefore, he moved to FC Nordsjælland during the winter break . There he was only a substitute in the second half of the season. He only became a regular there in the 2010/11 season. There he scored his first professional goal on July 18, 2010, the first matchday, in a 4-1 win against Silkeborg IF .
In January 2012 he went to Pescara Calcio and played for Hellas Verona and from January 2015 for Perugia Calcio . After two league games for Odense BK, Nielsen finally moved to Sarpsborg 08 in 2016 .
