Mauerstrasse 1 (Quedlinburg)
The house Mauerstraße 1 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .
It is located east of the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . The building is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register.
Architecture and history
The half-timbered house was built around 1660. When the building was renovated, the original appearance of the house was changed.
The upper floor of the house cantilevers over the ground floor. The roof area is facing the street, a dormer . The rare and preserved design of the ship's throat on the threshold of the house is remarkable . The eaves are also decorated with a dew stick .
