The house Mauerstraße 5 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

location

It is located east of the historic Quedlinburger Neustadt and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . The building is registered in the Quedlinburg monument register. The building, which is also listed, is adjacent to Mauerstraße 7 on the east side .

Architecture and history

The two-storey half - timbered house was built in 1700 and is to be adorned with a band of inscriptions. The LZM sign stands for the builder . The facade of the house has a rare decorative shape on its threshold and the profiled parapet planks with leaf friezes. The upper floor cantilevers over the basement.

The simply designed front door is probably more recent.
