Maurizio Gribaudi

Maurizio Gribaudi (born July 9, 1951 in Turin ) is an Italian historian and university professor in Paris .

Career

Maurizio Gribaudi began his Bachelor's degree in Classical Ancient Languages ​​at the University of Turin in 1971 , graduating in 1976 with Summa Cum Laude . In 1981 he completed his master's degree in history and civilization at the École des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales in Paris, where he then wrote his dissertation . Gribaudi has been Director of Studies at this university since 1995.

Between 2008 and 2013 he was a member of the board of directors of the Quaderni Storici magazine , which deals with micro-historical topics . In 2014 he became a member of the scientific committee of Città & Storia. He is also co-leader of the geomatic and historical project Le Massif Central vu par les Cassini and the research group GeoHistoricalData .

His main research interests are related to the analysis of social networks and cultural practices. His first book was on the working class of industrial Turin at the beginning of the 20th century. Gribaudi also took part in numerous conferences.
