Gualberto Mauro Cía Montañero (born July 3, 1919 in Buenos Aires ) is a retired Argentine light heavyweight boxer and film actor . He took part in the 1948 Olympic Games in London.

At the age of 29, Cia, who was employed by the Argentine Federal Police, qualified for the 1948 Summer Olympics in London . His coaches refused to let him compete in the fight for third place, as he was injured to his eyebrows and right hand.

After the Olympic boxing tournament, Cía was not interested in becoming a professional boxer. He withdrew to take care of his sick mother and became Archie Moore's sparring partner . After a brief acting career in boxing films, he tried in vain to qualify for the 1956 Summer Olympics .
