Mauro Gruber (born August 7, 1986 in Chur ) is a Swiss cross-country skier .

Career

Gruber made his debut in the World Cup in February 2006 in Davos , where he finished the sprint competition in 70th place. He won his first World Cup points in December 2013 at the sprint in Asiago with 17th place.

In January 2008 he won the sprint competition in Oberstdorf in the Alpine Cup . He achieved another podium finish in February 2011 with third place in the sprint in Forni di Sopra . He achieved his best overall ranking in the 2007/08 season with 18th place.
