Mauro Morassi

Mauro Morassi (* 1925 in Trento , † 1966 in Zambia ) was an Italian film director .

Morassi initially worked in the field of documentary film and from 1953 worked as an assistant director for various feature films. From 1957 to 1960 he produced three works under his own direction, all of which are only average. At Il successo three years later he was replaced by Dino Risi during the filming . Morassi died in a car accident in Zambia on the way to Tanzania.
