Maurus Hagel

Maurus Hagel (born February 25, 1780 in Neustift , † February 2, 1842 in Dillingen an der Donau ) was a Bavarian Benedictine monk and Catholic theologian .

During his time as a professor of dogmatics at the Dillingen Theological University , numerous philosophical and theological treatises were written. Thanks to his foundation, the university library has expanded its book collection by almost 300 volumes.
