The Max-Schubert-Warte is a lookout point in Killing, a district of the market town of Kapelln in the St. Pölten-Land district in Lower Austria .

The Max-Schubert-Warte is located at the geographical center of Lower Austria at an altitude of 227  m above sea level. A. It was built in 1993 and named after the geometer Maximilian Schubert (1896–1966). The control room is located directly on the Way of St. James Purkersdorf – Göttweig . The establishment was initiated by Hannes Schubert, the son of Max Schubert. The opening took place in the presence of Otto Habsburg . However, the control room was only completed three years later by the Kapelln community.

At the Max-Schubert-Warte there are also three benches that show the text and the melody of the first verse of the Lower Austrian national anthem .
