Max Weber Prize
The Max Weber Prize of the Bavarian Academy of Sciences is a German science prize .
Since 1994 , the Bavarian Academy of Sciences has awarded the Max Weber Prize to outstanding dissertations and habilitation theses in the humanities and social sciences. The ordinary members of the philosophical-historical class are entitled to make proposals. The prize is endowed with 4,000 euros and is financed by the Foundation for the Promotion of Science in Bavaria.
