Max Grafe

Max Grafe was a German football referee in the German Football Association (DFB). His club were the Sportfreunde Leipzig .

He headed the final of the German soccer championship in the 1909/10 game year on May 15, 1910 between the Karlsruher FV and the FV Holstein Kiel , which ended 1-0 after extra time for the Baden in Cologne's Weidenpescher Park stadium . He was also used in international games, such as the referee of Germany's first international match against Belgium (0: 3) on May 16, 1910 in Duisburg, curiously one day after the championship final in Cologne was officiated.
