Max Hirsch (medic, 1875)

Max Hirsch (born April 28, 1875 in Kalinow (later bloomau ); declared dead on May 8, 1945 ) was a German doctor of Jewish origin.

Life

He received his license to practice medicine in 1900 and then worked as a general practitioner and rheumatologist, including in Bad Salzschlirf , where he headed the Zander Institute there from 1911 to 1914 . He was also the publisher and editor of the journal for scientific bathing science , later the journal for spa science , and general secretary of the Balneological Society . He made great contributions to founding a research institute for rheumatic diseases. In April 1933, Max Hirsch ended his functions in the Balneological Society and the Society for Combating Rheumatism. He emigrated to Switzerland, later to Moscow, Leningrad and Riga, until he lost track of him in July 1941. He was pronounced dead on May 8, 1945.
