Max Karli

Maximilian Karli (born December 30, 1975 ) is a Swiss film producer .

Career

Max Karli grew a. a. in Solothurn and attended film school in New York City . In 2003 he and his wife Pauline Karli-Gygax founded the film production company "Rita Productions Sàrl " in Geneva . The following year, the first documentary was published under the title Les petites visions and the first short film Promis juré . In addition to documentaries and short films, television films have also been released. At the Academy Awards 2017 , his produced film Mein Leben als Zucchini (directed by Claude Barras ) was nominated in the category Best Animated Film. Further nominations and awards for the animated film followed. The film has also been nominated for a BAFTA award at the British Academy Film Awards 2018 .
