Max Landorff is the pseudonym of an unknown crime writer .
With the controller 2011, the first novel was published in the Frankfurter joke publishing under that name and became a bestseller. It is believed that the journalists and brothers Stephan and Andreas Lebert are behind the pseudonym , as the novel was originally announced to the book trade under their names.
